We are excited to announce that Coos County Conservation District has launched a new fresh website redesign! The (CCCD) has long been a cornerstone of environmental stewardship and agricultural preservation in northern New Hampshire. Their website has played a critical role in connecting the community with resources, events, and educational content. Recently, CCCD embarked on a transformative journey to update its online presence. We’re excited to share the launch of its newly redesigned website.
The project wasn’t just about making the site look better. It was about enhancing its functionality, expanding its capacity, and making it a more effective tool for the community. We doubled the website’s size and seamlessly transferred it to their existing hosting provider. To ensure success, we provided training to empower their office team. The redesigned website now offers a fresh, modern experience while staying true to CCCD’s mission.
Building on a Solid Foundation
CCCD approached the redesign with a clear sense of identity and purpose. They brought their established logo, a visual representation of their deep connection to conservation and agriculture. This logo served as a focal point. The logo ensured that the new design remained cohesive with its branding while still allowing for modernization.
The decision to keep their existing hosting provider was strategic. It allowed CCCD to maintain key features like their e-commerce store and podcast. These tools are essential for sharing knowledge, selling materials, and supporting their programs. Our job was to build around these features while improving the site’s design and structure. We will offer our hosting management services to their hosting provider at an additional charge. Our hosted clients get a better rate.
Expanding and Enhancing the Website
One of the most significant aspects of the redesign was the expansion of the website’s content. The previous site served its purpose but had grown outdated and limited in scope. The new website doubles the number of pages, creating space to highlight more resources, events, and projects.
By expanding the site, CCCD can now offer a deeper dive into their programs and initiatives. Visitors can easily access information about workshops, grants, and conservation projects. The site features an intuitive layout that guides users to what they need, whether they’re looking for farming resources or ways to get involved in conservation.
Each page was carefully designed and moved manually, ensuring that nothing was lost in the process. This meticulous approach allowed us to refine content, update outdated elements, and align everything with CCCD’s goals.
Seamless Migration and Functionality
The existing hosting setup presented a unique challenge. With critical features like an e-commerce store and podcast platform in place, we needed to move the site page by page without disrupting these services. This careful migration ensured the online store remained functional, allowing visitors to purchase materials or make donations without interruption.
The podcast platform also remained intact, preserving a valuable resource for sharing stories and insights about conservation. This continuity was vital for CCCD, as their podcast has become an important tool for engaging with the community and promoting environmental education.
By working directly within their hosting environment, we ensured a seamless transition, bringing the new design to life without sacrificing the features their audience relies on.
Empowering the CCCD Team
A great website is only as effective as the team behind it. To ensure that CCCD could make the most of its redesigned site, we provided two hands-on training sessions. These sessions were tailored to their needs, covering everything from updating content to managing their e-commerce platform.
The goal of these training sessions was to give CCCD the confidence and skills to take ownership of its website. By learning how to make updates and maintain their content, the team can keep the site current and engaging without relying on external support.
This empowerment reflects CCCD’s broader mission of community involvement and education. Just as they work to provide tools and resources for farmers and conservationists, they now have the tools to manage their digital presence effectively.
A Fresh Look for a Trusted Resource
The redesigned website offers more than just improved functionality; it delivers a fresh, modern look that reflects CCCD’s values and mission. The design incorporates clean lines, easy navigation, and an emphasis on visual storytelling. Vibrant images and thoughtful layouts draw visitors in, while the expanded content ensures they find the information they need.
This new look also enhances CCCD’s ability to connect with a broader audience. By improving the user experience and making the site more accessible, the redesign helps CCCD reach farmers, educators, and conservation enthusiasts more effectively than ever.
Supporting Conservation in Coos County
The launch of the redesigned website marks an exciting milestone for CCCD. It’s a testament to their commitment to growth and innovation while staying rooted in their mission. With a site that’s twice as robust, seamlessly integrated with their existing hosting, and managed confidently by their team, CCCD is well-equipped to continue supporting conservation in Coos County.
This project was an honor to be part of, and we’re excited to see how the new site enhances CCCD’s impact. From offering a wealth of resources to fostering engagement with their programs, the redesigned website is a powerful tool for driving positive change.
The Coos County Conservation District’s mission to conserve natural resources and support sustainable agriculture now has a modern, effective digital platform to amplify its reach. If you haven’t visited their new website yet, we encourage you to explore it and see the difference for yourself.
This redesign is more than just a fresh coat of paint; it’s a reflection of CCCD’s dedication to their work and the community they serve. As they continue their important mission, their updated website ensures they have the tools to inform, inspire, and engage for years to come.
